Elder Lary T. Murray, a man of compassion, gentleness, and love. A strong, statures man who epitomizes the  fruit of the sprit Galatians 5:22-23. He possess a genuine love for God,  and  the people of God. A quiet unassuming man that stands tall in the Spirit of God, with a servants heart.

 

Born November 5, 1948 in Forest, Mississippi in the very bed in which our founder of the  Church of God in Christ, Bishop Charles Harrison Mason slept in. Mother Katie L. Murray the grandmother of Elder  Lary Murray housed Bishop Mason when he would frequent the area. Upon his birth Elder Murray’s grandmother  offered him up to the Lord, speaking  prophetically  “ Lord  this man child shall be Your preacher”, echoing the words of the prophet Isaiah 49:1-6  The Lord has called me from the womb…thou art my  servant in whom I will be glorified……

 

Elder Lary  Murray is certainly no stranger to the Church of God in Christ, he comes from a very strong lineage of  Elders, Pastors, Superintendents, and Bishops in the Murray family. His grandmother Katie L. Murray birthed eight sons, and the seed of these sons birthed more sons, who have great presence in the Church of God in Christ worldwide.

 

Elder Lary Murray was birthed out of the ministry of Bishop P.A. Brooks 1st Vice President of  the  Church  of  God in Christ, at New St. Paul Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C. in April 1986, where he and his wife of 26 years Evangelist Renee’ F. Murray received  Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior together. It was here where his destiny began to unfold.

 

Elder Lary Murray accepted and acknowledged the time of fulfillment , the prophetic word  spoken over him  from  birth to become the Lord’s vessel  for ministry in December 2003. He became an ordained Elder, August 2008 in Great Lakes First Jurisdiction under God’s humble servant the late Bishop Clifford C. Dunlap.

 

Elder Murray has served as , Church Administrator, Trustee, Deacon, President of Men’s Ministry, President of Male Chorus, Sunday School Teacher, Workshop Presenter, and Chairman of Licensing &  Procurement for Head Start Agency.

 

In July 2010 Elder Lary Murray began to experience a stronger pull of the spirit when he heard the voice of the Lord say “ its now time for the greater works, launch out into the deep for the draught, you have served  faithfully in that which is another, now I’ve come to give you your own”.

 

December 5,2010 Elder Lary T. Murray launched the work of the Lord, Thy Kingdom Come  Church of God in Christ, where he  Pastor’s the Lord’s sheep under Bishop J. Drew Sheard,  Prelate Michigan North Central Ecclesiastical  Jurisdiction, & National Chairman of AIM of the Church of God in Christ  worldwide.

 

Pastor Lary T. Murray is the Lord’s strong teaching priest, who loves to worship, pray, and minister healing, hope,& restoration to a broken world. He challenges the soul of man to become all that God has predestined, putting great emphasis on marriage and the family, which is the  Lord’s church. This gentle giant truly is the Lord’s end time refreshing gift to the body of the Lord  Jesus Christ.
